Janica Smith

JANICA SMITH (Dancer) Janica Smith trained at San Francisco Ballet and American Ballet Theatre’s program in Austin, TX as well as City Ballet of San Diego. She danced with City Ballet for 9 seasons, and was featured as Odette and Odile in Swan Lake, Kitri in Don Quixote, Nikia and Carmen in Carmen, and Leave The Light On. She performed principal roles in Balanchine’s Rubies, Concerto Barocco, Donizetti Variations, Who Cares?, Serenade, Divertimento No.15, Apollo, and La Source.  In the summer of 2005, Janica performed at the 10th International Ballet Competition and Contest of Choreographers in Moscow and New York City.
