JONATHAN MANGOSING (Dancer)is Filipino-American and was born and raised in California. He began his career with the San Francisco Ballet, where his favorite roles included Rubies, Carnival des Animaux, Artifact, and Glass Pieces. In 2007, he joined the Hong Kong Ballet, performing works by Balanchine, Forsythe and Welch. He was cast in the premiere of Hong Kong Ballet’s signature work, Firecracker; and danced Sleeping Beauty set by Cynthia Harvey. He joined Smuin Ballet in February and his inaugural performance was a solo in To The Beatles at the smashingly successful 2011 Smuin Ballet Gala. Jonathan loves choreography and diverse dance forms including hip-hop, modern, and pop jazz.
