Jonathan Powell

Jonathan moved all over the country before ending up at Ballet Memphis in 2003. He has danced the roles of a Stepsister in Cinderella, the Writer in Mark Godden’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream, and the Rooster in Carnival of the Animals. He has performed works by Julia Adam, Robert Battle, and Trey McIntyre, including The Reassuring Effects of Form and Poetry, In Dreams, The Naughty Boy, The Barramundi, Pork Songs, Grace, and Hymn,which he performed at the Fire Island Dance Festival. This is his first season with Smuin Ballet.
