Smuin Ballets 15th Anniversary Season begins October 24th with the fiery passion of Carmen set to the music of Miles Davis' 'Sketches of Spain' choreographed by Emmy Award winning Robert Sund. Also in the Fall/Winter Program the ballet that started it all - Dances with Songs. This signature Smuin work, a marvelous and colorful medley set to songs by your favorite singers. Amy Seiwert, recently retired Smuin Ballet dancer, choreographs her 7th World Premiere for the company in her new role as Choreographer in Residence.

Our world famous Holiday Program, The Christmas Ballet has several new additions, including a fun and sexy 'Sugar Rum Cherry.' As always, the ethereal Classical Christmas, followed by the spicy and lively Cool Christmas is a magical treat for all ages.

Spring ushers in a sexy menage à trois of ballets starting with the West Coast Premiere of Trey McIntyre¹s The Naughty Boy! A sly sensual narrative about Cupid¹s meddling effects on four couples, followed by the delightfully romantic Bouquet by Michael Smuin. The Spring Program concludes with the cool sensuality of St. Louis WomanMichael¹s last narrative ballet.
