
Season 32: Standing out from the crowd
Season 32, rich with company and world premieres, abounds with ballets that are both evocative and innovative. Extremely Close is a contemporary class by Alejandro Cerrudo of exceptional theatricality and beauty. Two-time Tony-Award winner and New York City Ballet Resident Choreographer Justin Peck shares his musically nuanced Partita, set to Caroline Shaw’s Pulitzer Prize-winning score. Louisville Ballet Resident Choreographer Andrea Schermoly will create her first world premiere for the company, and Artistic Director Amy Seiwert will make her fourteenth.
